    Course Descriptions

    Algebra I:
    A student must have completed Pre-Algebra (8th grade/High School) or approval of teacher to take this course. This course will offer the beginning studies of the topic of Algebra. It will cover solving equations, graphing equations, ratios and proportions and solving systems of equations.

    Algebra A:
    Algebra A is the first of a two-year long course in the Algebra I sequence, focusing primarily on mathematical problem solving using linear expression, equations and inequalities.

    Algebra B:
    Algebra B is the second part of a two year-long course in the Algebra I sequence, focusing primarily on mathematical problem solving using linear expressions, equations and inequalities.

    Pre-Algebra:
    Pre-Algebra is a year-long course in the Algebra I sequence, focusing primarily on mathematical problem solving using linear expressions, equations and inequalities.
